On February 10, Faith Lutheran Youth set out for Petit Jean Lutheran Camp in Arkansas to worship and fellowship with sixteen different churches, which totaled to over a hundred kids and adults. The theme “You were created by the CREATOR to be creative”, which means each of us is fearfully and wonderfully made by God, we are all unique, and God urges us to utilize these gifts for His glory. Mr. Jake Youmans, Director of DCE Programs in Concordia Texas, also spoke about how Jesus is within all of us and because we have the joy of knowing and believing in Him we are called to spread His word. 

Our service work was to rake about half an acre of leaves, this was exhausting.  In the end we played and jumped in the huge pile of leaves which made it enjoyable. Annie Cox summarizes our weekend well “This experience was amazing and I loved being able to meet new people, worship, and mane new memories.  The band was awesome too.”
