Transitional Kindergarten

As your partner in the education of your child, Faith Lutheran Preschool lays the foundation of educational activities to come, forging meaningful relationships and building the bridge between preschool and elementary school.

Students are prepared to be leaders, and encouraged to be lifelong learners in an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust. Learners build character engaging in meaningful play, working collaboratively to foster critical thinking and to apply knowledge based learning practices.

Through hands-on S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering, math) and reading activities, they develop a sense of independence growing in their ability to develop good work habits, learning to listen and follow directions, and to assume responsibility in a group.

As they grow in their ability to think for themselves, they also learn to understand God's love and demonstrate this through their service to others in their classroom.

Literary activities help foster a desire to pursue a love for the written language, develop listening skills and an understanding of the spoken word.

As each child is a unique gift from God, our program is designed to meet the individual needs of each child, helping him or her to reach their full potential.
